As many of you know, the Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin has been chosen by Luke’s parents as the recipient of donations made in Luke’s name. Anderson Animal Shelter offers a “Kids n Kritters Program” every year. Each child who participates has the opportunity to purchase a t-shirt. The Luke Laudolff Fund at Anderson Animal Shelter has underwritten the cost of these t-shirts for the children who participate in the program this year. Anderson allowed us to honor Luke by adding graphics to both sleeves of these t-shirts. One sleeve says “Angels for Animals” with Luke’s initials. This design was created by Luke’s dad, Paul. The other sleeve has an original drawing of a hummingbird that Luke created.
Anderson also offered Luke’s family the opportunity to purchase these t-shirts. The response was overwhelming and on Sunday, September 30, we gathered at Seven Gables Park in Wheaton to put on our t-shirts, take some pictures, and remember Luke.
